Facelift Works at Ravenside Retail Park, Erdington

Description of Project

Partial demolition of existing entrance feature towers so they can be altered to provide new higher towers with more visual impact along with re-decoration of the elevation cladding to units on an existing live retail park.

The brief extent of the works is to:

New entrance feature towers to Units A & G. Including car park space alterations
Amended towers to B; D1; D2; D3; E1; E2; F. Extending existing columns to new height and site erecting new sign lattice frame.
Removal of signage zones with repairs and redecoration of existing facade cladding.
New signs for each tower.

Unit C extension works summary

Partial demolition of the existing unit to facilitate extension and facelift with new glazing and cladding, along with altered feature entrance tower as above.
The brief extent of works is to:
Strip of cladding and demolish cavity walls to front and side elevation retaining structural steel.
Facelift works to provide double height glazing and renewed cladding.

We’re delighted to be working with NU Construction on this project. It’s yet another example of the strong working relationship we have built up over a number of years and adds to the already extensive list of contracts we have completed for NU. The project itself has a tight schedule to ensure minimum disruption to both the stores and the shoppers, with the majority of work being undertaken after the stores have closed. We look forward to seeing the new look shopping park once all the work has been completed.
