Job Description: A new three storey extension to the hospital.

We were approached by our long standing customer D D Porter to provide a price for the steelwork elements of the new extension at Fitzwilliam Hospital, Peterborough.

The extension to the hospital will provide new admin and consulting rooms, operating theatre and theatre store, plant rooms and link corridor to the main hospital.

The amount of steel used in the project was c35 tonnes and took just over one week to erect on site using a 35 tonne city crane.
